Worshipping the Sun - Park @ Sunset

When I look at this picture, I find that I can interpret it in different ways. My dear friends could have been 'worshipping the sun', or raising a big ball of light into the sky, or just standing there tanning the pasty undersides of their arms. =) Also, I absolutely love sun flares. It's too bad the one in this picture is hardly noticeable.

Bringing out the oldies

It was a friend's birthday party and a park visit has become tradition. While walking up, I decided there were some shots that could not be missed. I don't have a wide angle lens so it's a shame you can't see what this hill uprise looked like at the time.

Now these photos have been lying on my external hard-drive for some time and I think they need to be brought out into the world somewhere other than on Facebook. Looking through these so called 'favourites' of mine, I realise that I seriously need to go out more to find better locations. I also realised that I have misplaced many of the photos I took a few years back. How strange. When I can find them, I'll post them up because these missing photos are more 'nature' based - with no people in them.
